    The Dodge Journey: A Journey to Nowhere?

    The Dodge Journey is the automaker’s firest car-based SUV.  It’s built on the Dodge Avenger platform, but offers third row seating that allows the model to accomodate up to 7 passengers. 

    There are some great family-oriented options, such as integrated storage bins below seats and in the floor, as well as integrated child booster seats.  Unfortunately reliability has been somewhat lacking.  You probably won’t see this baby on many Buy Here Pay Here car lots, as it was only introduced in 2009.  That said, testers have liked the “punchy” V6, which puts out 235 horsepower, 62 more than the standard 2.4L four cylinder engine.
